You Could be Losing Revenue
With the staggering number of mobile users today we have to ask ourselves if our websites are designed for our mobile customers. Too many small business website owners don’t have the time or resources to create mobile friendly versions of the sites. Unfortunately, this is going to lead to lost revenue.
In our opinion, creating a top-notch user experience is what Website Design is all about. According to a study on Internet Trends by KPCB 2014 there are now 1.6 billion mobile subscribers globally with a growth rate of 28%. Is your website mobile friendly?
Take the Mobile Friendly Test Now!
Check to see if your website is mobile friendly. Follow the link at the top of this article to Google’s Mobile Friendly Test. Simply type in the URL of any website and click analyze. In a few short seconds Google will give you a message as to the mobile friendliness of the website you analyzed.
Did your Website Past the Test?
Did you get a return message stating, “Awesome! This Page is Mobile Friendly,” you have nothing to fear. If, on the other hand, you see a message that states, “Not Mobile-Friendly,” in daunting red font, then you have some work to do. If Google determines the website is not mobile friendly reasons as to why are stated on the page as well as links off to help pages. Most of the help pages are within Google developer and Webmaster sections of the site. If you don’t have much experience with website design or search engine optimization the information provided may seem a little overwhelming.
